What are my hobbies and other interests?
Other than daily working to overthrow the government, I don't have many
other interests. Just kidding, almost. It's not really daily, but probably
every other day or two. I do a lot of reading and writing and plan to have
a couple more books on the market before the year is gone. Some of the
subjects I write about are rather boring, though not as boring as CPA or
engineering manuals and such, but certainly not of Mr. Grisham's quality.
I do like to spout off my opinion, and my wife likes it a lot when people
pay money to read or hear those opinions. So, you've probably gathered by
now that I haven't changed much in 30 something years, but now I voice my
opinion in a warmer climate. I just never could get used to the Michigan
winters. Or summers. Or, ......... Some of us just like the heat!
High School Memories?
Too many great memories to mention and the only bad ones I can
remember are the ones I created for myself and others.
What have I learned?
The people who have read my books think I have learned a few things since
high school, and I'll really be a happy man if I can just convince my wife
that I have done so.
Favorite Saying:
Around these parts I have been known for a totally ridiculous saying, but
it does get a chuckle every now and then. And, being the last-born son
that I am, always looking for a good punchline, I'll keep using it until
my wife tells me I can't use it any more. "But, then again, what do I
know? I'm only a home inspector." It's funnier right after I have
delivered to those close by a bit of wisdom which was probably of a
serious nature, and levity is needed.
What else do I have to say?
For those of you still living in New Baltimore, during the 2 weeks of nice
weather you have in the summer, please watch out for my mom on her bike.
She's 78 and still rides her bike, so be careful when you see her! Just
kidding! Honestly, if you see her and have time, say Hi. She loves to talk
to people who knew any of her family. However, don't let her talk too long
as she can get carried away. Also, if any of you are ever in Dallas-Ft.
Worth, give me a call and maybe we can meet for lunch or dinner. My treat.
