Catawba Island, Ohio
What have I been doing
since graduation?
Shortly after graduation I moved to Ohio where I continued my education
at the University of Toledo. I worked full time for several years as a
Paralegal, then part time for the Toledo Bar Association. During this
time I also pursued my writing career as Contributing Editor for Toledo
Metropolitan Magazine and the Toledo Jewish News. Taking first prize in
a national poetry contest gave me the confidence I needed to pursue my
first love and, surprisingly, I was published in several poetry
anthologies.
Mid life I switched careers
and went to work for a large National Bank. First I worked in the
BankCard Division resolving billing disputes with MasterCard and Visa.
Eventually, I moved to BankCard Operations, Special Services, where I
supervised credit card replacement and fraud prevention. After 10 years,
I retired from the bank.
Now days I enjoy life with
my husband, two daughters, sons-in-law and three WONDERFUL
grandchildren! I live on an Island (what could be better?!) and enjoy
cruising the beautiful Lake Erie Islands on our boat.
High Memories
Speech, English and Journalism. They molded my life.
What have I learned?
Never underestimate yourself. Nurture your family - they are your
greatest treasure.

Get over it!
Do you know how we can
contact other classmates?
No, but I'd love to hear from you: Gail Zabowski, Kathy Westermann - all
the old 'gang'.
Anything else you want
to say?
It was a real thrill finding this website. I'll be checking in regularly
to check updates. Although our common threads are decades old the times
and the memories are cherished. Great job Rich! Thank you! |
